A dog (Jimmy)was stolen from the Perigueux SPA during the night of Friday 1st-2nd May. He is a cross Braque, white & brown. The building where the Jimmy was kept was broken into, his companion was left locked in the box. This dog had been stolen 3 years previously. The thieves damaged other areas in the refuge. They broke into another area where Baltik was recovering from an operation for a fractured leg. He was found with his leg newly fractured again & he has had to have another operation which is going to cost us dearly along with the repairs to the buildings.
We would like to say first to the thieves please be good to Jimmy & don't hurt him.
We would like to ask anyone who might have been passing by the refuge on the night of Friday 1st May if they noticed anything untoward, people with a dog, a car or van by the refuge gates, please contact us on 05 53 04 16 54
